Each Networking Academy is supplied the necessary curriculum and resources to ensure success. Academy Support Centers (ASC’s) are institutions that provide academies with operational support and services and act as the first line of support for academies. ASC’s play a critical role in the development and sustainably of local academies by supporting and mentoring instructors, ensuring quality, and driving growth.
Cisco Networking Academy Support Centers are committed to supporting local Networking Academies. The supporting partnership enables local academies to train the workforce of the future. ASC’s work side-by-side assisting with curriculum, equipment, and training. Because this support is vital to ensuring the success of local academies, Cisco requires each to have an ASC partner.

Personalized Support & Training
As your Support Center, we will work with you to develop a personalized support plan and assist with curriculum changes and goal setting. We work with both new and established academies. Serving as your ASC Academy Specialist and the primary point of contact for your academy, we can assist with onboarding new instructors, finding new training opportunities, and providing mentoring services. About Our Leadership
Steve Richards, Platinum ASC’s founder and CEO has been involved with the Cisco Networking Academy program since 1998. Steve’s early experiences with the academy program include instruction, main point of contact, and academy administration. Steve’s desire to assist academies with the continuously growing portfolio of courses led him to apply to become an Academy Support Center. Steve is fueled by his excitement for the variety of coursework offered to academies.
